Entity shape
Witness-family ledger
witness_family_requires_ledger_not_single_entity
The missing object is a family of witnesses, manuscript states, or document routes rather than one bounded entity.
Why not canonical?
Ordinary ontologies tend to force this into Work or Manuscript; Inferpedia needs the ledger as a first-class intermediate shape.
Pattern note
The shape preserves the inferred relation without collapsing all witnesses into a single article topic.
Scope
Use where source reading confirms a real problem but requires witness-specific splitting.
